Personal Insurance Advisor
(Hybrids: client onboarding, personal lines, high-net-worth sales)
Role summary / purpose:
The Personal Insurance Advisor wears dual hats: onboarding personal risks for our commercial clients (spouse, home, auto, umbrella, valuables) and cultivating new, high-net-worth (HNW) personal clients. You are a risk consultant across life, property, auto, valuables, and estates — especially for clients with elevated assets and unique exposures.
Key responsibilities:
- Consult with new and existing clients to evaluate personal risks and protection goals
- Design and present tailored personal insurance plans, especially for high-net-worth individuals
- Identify cross-sell opportunities between commercial and personal portfolios
- Prospect for high-net-worth leads (referrals, networking, partnerships)
- Facilitate underwriting, carrier submissions, renewals, and policy servicing
- Provide guidance on specialty coverage: collectibles, fine art, high-value homes, exotic autos
- Stay up to date on trends affecting affluent clients (e.g. cyber risk, umbrella, excess liability)
- Maintain compliance, licensing, and carrier relationships
Ideal candidate profile:
- Passionate about protecting people’s legacies, families, and assets
- Comfortable navigating both sales and service
- Experience or interest in high-net-worth insurance, luxury/unique exposures
- Able to build rapport with discerning clients, advisors, and financial professionals
- Capacity to understand complex exposures, assemble creative coverage strategies
- Strong ethics, client-centricity, and consultative mindset

Compensation:
- Range is $55,000.00 – $150,000.00
- Salary would be dependent on the candidate’s experience.
- Compensation includes a base salary, individual and team bonuses, and commission potential.
- We provide PTO, paid holidays and a 401(K) match of pay.
- All training and designations are paid for by the agency.
Experience Requirements:
We prefer you hold a current property and casualty license. The ideal candidate would have at least 2 years insurance experience with a documented track record.
