Personal Insurance Advisor

(Hybrids: client onboarding, personal lines, high-net-worth sales)

Role summary / purpose:
The Personal Insurance Advisor wears dual hats: onboarding personal risks for our commercial clients (spouse, home, auto, umbrella, valuables) and cultivating new, high-net-worth (HNW) personal clients. You are a risk consultant across life, property, auto, valuables, and estates — especially for clients with elevated assets and unique exposures.

Key responsibilities:

  • Consult with new and existing clients to evaluate personal risks and protection goals
  • Design and present tailored personal insurance plans, especially for high-net-worth individuals
  • Identify cross-sell opportunities between commercial and personal portfolios
  • Prospect for high-net-worth leads (referrals, networking, partnerships)
  • Facilitate underwriting, carrier submissions, renewals, and policy servicing
  • Provide guidance on specialty coverage: collectibles, fine art, high-value homes, exotic autos
  • Stay up to date on trends affecting affluent clients (e.g. cyber risk, umbrella, excess liability)
  • Maintain compliance, licensing, and carrier relationships

Ideal candidate profile:

  • Passionate about protecting people’s legacies, families, and assets
  • Comfortable navigating both sales and service
  • Experience or interest in high-net-worth insurance, luxury/unique exposures
  • Able to build rapport with discerning clients, advisors, and financial professionals
  • Capacity to understand complex exposures, assemble creative coverage strategies
  • Strong ethics, client-centricity, and consultative mindset

Why you’ll love it (and be an asset):

  • You’ll play a unique role bridging commercial and personal worlds
  • You’ll have access to referrals, synergy, and cross-selling within EIS’s client base
  • You’ll build a premium book of business with higher-than-average revenue per client
  • We support you with underwriting relationships, marketing, and technical resources
  • You’ll help elevate EIS’s brand in the high-net-worth space

Compensation:

  • Range is $55,000.00 – $150,000.00
  • Salary would be dependent on the candidate’s experience.
  • Compensation includes a base salary, individual and team bonuses, and commission potential.
  • We provide PTO, paid holidays and a 401(K) match of pay.
  • All training and designations are paid for by the agency.

Experience Requirements:

We prefer you hold a current property and casualty license. The ideal candidate would have at least 2 years insurance experience with a documented track record.
