Commercial Lines Account Executive
(Client-care champions who retain & deepen relationships)
Role summary / purpose:
Once a commercial client is onboarded, the Account Executive owns the relationship, the servicing, and the proactive growth. You ensure clients feel heard, confident, and protected — and you continuously seek opportunities to fortify and expand their coverage.
Key responsibilities:
- Serve as primary point of contact for a portfolio of commercial clients
- Conduct regular reviews, risk assessments, and policy audits
- Educate clients on exposures, coverage gaps, and mitigation strategies
- Facilitate renewals, negotiate endorsements, process changes
- Work with underwriting and carriers to secure favorable terms
- Identify cross-sell or upsell opportunities (e.g. umbrella, cyber, E&O, employee benefits)
- Monitor claims, help coordinate with claims resources, and advocate for clients
- Maintain retention targets, satisfaction metrics, and portfolio profitability

Compensation:
Salary varies depending on experience, target range $70,000-$120,000. Compensation includes base salary, individual and team bonuses, and commission potential. We also provide PTO, paid holidays, and a 401(K) match of pay. All training and designations are paid by the agency.
Experience Requirements:
We prefer you hold a current property and casualty license. The ideal candidate would have at least 2 years insurance experience with a documented track record.
